The PUR foaming of vessels, pipework systems and sheet metal structures on industrial installations with mobile high-pressure foaming units is only one part of a PUR foaming specialist’s work. The work is varied and calls for manual skill. We will train you as a PUR foaming specialist and cover the cost of the qualification. What does a PUR foaming specialist do?

PUR foaming specialists work with rigid polyurethane foam, a high-performance insulation material that is either applied by high-pressure spraying or poured into cavities. Within seconds two components form a cellular, solid material that insulates outstandingly, keeps its shape and works for decades even under harsh conditions. Foaming is applied to vessels in the food industry, deep-freeze warehouses, biogas digesters, pipework in plant engineering and much more. The job is a genuine specialisation: across Germany there are only a limited number of specialist companies that master the process to this depth.

Anyone working as a PUR foaming specialist should have a good eye for material distribution, be physically resilient and enjoy handling high-quality technology: the high-pressure units are true special machines.
