Digesters & vessels: we insulate vessels and connected pipework in order to reduce heat losses and protect the insulation build-up from the weather in the long term. Nozzles, sight glasses, level gauges and cleaning openings remain accessible. For refurbishments we coordinate the work with the plant builder and work in agreed maintenance windows.
Gas & process lines: thermal, fire and weather protection on pipework and heat exchanger connections. The choice of material, the insulation build-up and the metal cladding are agreed on a project basis and documented traceably. Bends, fittings and reducers receive precisely fitted detail solutions.
CHP units & compressors: sound-insulating enclosures for combined heat and power units, gas compressors and generators. Reducing noise emission at the installation site is decisive where permit conditions, workplace regulations and the German technical noise guidelines apply near residential areas. Typical reductions are in the range of 15 to 30 dB(A), depending on the unit and the design. Maintenance access stays clean and easy, with quickly removable cladding parts, so that service and maintenance intervals are not extended by the enclosure. At compressor stations with high vibration we coordinate the suspension of the cladding with the vibration consultant, so that the enclosure itself does not become a noise source and no cracks appear in the cladding over its service life. On request we coordinate sound measurements before and after installation with an independent acoustics office, in order to document the result for the authorities.
Heat exchangers & accumulators: we insulate buffer tanks, plate heat exchangers and distributors in order to reduce heat losses in the pipe network. We choose the material and the cladding to suit the medium temperature, the environment and the cleaning requirements. Interfaces with plant and heating construction are agreed on a project basis.
