Today Michael Swienty runs the family company in its second generation from Malchin in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Reinhard Swienty remains closely involved with the company. IVS employs more than 20 people and works with state-of-the-art prefabrication machinery and PUR high-pressure units.
The company Isolierung und Verschäumung was founded in 1984 as a sole proprietorship by Reinhard Swienty in what was then the GDR. Only after the second oil crisis did a rethink towards the careful use of energy resources begin there too. Saving energy through technical insulation was one of the few fields in which working independently as a craftsman was possible at the time.
By building up high-pressure PUR foaming from 1990 onwards, IVS opened up a new speciality. PUR high-pressure pour foaming became an important complement to cold insulation.
His son Michael Swienty completed his master craftsman training for thermal, cold, acoustic and fire protection insulation in 2006 and took charge of building up the company’s own sheet metal prefabrication. Since 2014 we have been operating a second production hall exclusively for stainless steel formed parts in V2A and V4A, above all for the food industry.
The one-man business of 1984 has become a dependable mid-sized family company with more than 20 employees, rooted in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and working throughout Germany as well as in Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium and Austria.
We manufacture for you in two modern production halls with computer-controlled CNC sheet metal machines. From the CAD cutting program through further processing on special machines to the completion of individual formed parts, we have aligned every work step with the next.
Since 2014 we have been manufacturing formed parts exclusively from V2A and V4A stainless steel in a dedicated hall — the standard for hygienically demanding applications in the food industry. This lets us respond flexibly to your requirements, quickly and without middlemen.
With our mobile surveying system our fitters transfer data directly from the site to prefabrication. Production therefore starts promptly, we react to changes in real time and your project stays on schedule.
Behind our machines are experienced design mechanics who accompany every component from the design drawing to the finished sheet metal part. Because we manufacture the formed parts directly for our own insulation projects, we know how they are installed on site from practice: special dimensions, tight deadlines or last-minute adjustments are solved straight from the hall.
This depth of manufacturing is a concrete advantage for our customers: shorter supply chains, fewer interfaces and full control over the quality of every formed part. Instead of prefabricated standard goods from wholesale, you get components made exactly for your project — precisely fitted, in our hall, by our team.
