Reactors & pressure vessels: V4A thermal insulation with a stainless steel jacket fitted precisely around manholes, agitator shafts and heating and cooling jackets. For high-temperature reactors above 300 °C we choose mineral wool or calcium silicate in multi-layer build-ups whose surface temperature stays safely below the contact protection values of the German accident insurance rules. In the cryogenic range we use PUR/PIR rigid foam with a continuous vapour barrier: decisive so that humidity cannot enter the insulation system and cause ice to form on the reactor jacket. Cladding in V4A stainless steel withstands acids, alkalis and cleaning chemicals for years. On request we also manufacture removable hoods for maintenance access that come off quickly and close tightly again without tools: important for regular cleaning or catalyst-change routines. Material certificates and photo documentation are part of the standard scope of delivery.
Columns & heat exchangers: jacket and hood construction for distillation, absorption and stripping columns. Plate heat exchangers and shell-and-tube heat exchangers receive casings matched exactly to their geometry, in which inspection hatches and instrumentation remain accessible. Surveying with a mobile system directly at the installation; prefabrication in Malchin runs in parallel with the plant construction. This way even tall columns with complex attachments can be insulated cleanly, without improvised jacket connections. In thermally sensitive areas we coordinate with your process engineer so that the insulation thickness does not affect process control. We supply material certificates for V4A stainless steel: the basis for hygienically demanding installations and for plants with aggressive solvents, where only documented materials are accepted. On request we accompany commissioning and hand over a photo-documented final acceptance.
Pipework & distributors: for cold, hot and process lines we choose the insulation material and metal cladding to suit the medium, the temperature, the environment and the cleaning requirements. Bends, fittings, distributors and wall and ceiling penetrations are executed and documented on a project basis.
Complete assembly & service: for plant extensions we work during ongoing operation in agreed maintenance windows. For modular construction projects we take on the complete insulation at our works. You get ready-to-install skids back, including photo and material documentation. For extensive renewal work we coordinate with your shift manager and work between production cycles, so that critical reactor or column shutdowns stay minimal. On request we hand over a photo-documented final acceptance after commissioning — a clean basis for ISO and energy audits. Our installation teams work throughout Germany and, where required, in Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium and Austria.
