Cold stores and logistics centres need permanently closed cold insulation in order to avoid energy losses, condensation and corrosion.
IVS insulates refrigerant and brine lines, distributors, fittings and technical installations. Vapour barriers, insulation material and metal cladding are executed to suit the temperature, the environment and the operation.
Fire protection measures at pipe and cable penetrations are carried out with certified systems and documented. By arrangement, the work can also take place during ongoing operations.
Use in cold stores
Refrigerant and brine lines: we carry out closed cold insulation with a continuous vapour barrier and suitable metal cladding. The insulation material and the cladding material are matched to the medium temperature, the environment and the cleaning requirements. Connection details at fittings, pumps and distributors are carefully integrated into the insulation system.
Evaporators & units: for technical components and connected lines we manufacture precisely fitting, maintenance-friendly insulation casings. Inspection and cleaning openings remain accessible; condensation and vapour barrier details are executed to suit the installation situation.
Active fire protection: for cold stores and logistics centres we install certified pipe, cable and combined penetration seals. Execution and documentation are matched to the building situation and the system used.

Yes, that is in fact typical. We coordinate surveying, delivery and installation with your shift operation and work in prepared zones without interrupting the flow of goods. Prefabrication runs in parallel in Malchin, and the installation itself is reduced to the actual fitting.

Depending on the temperature and the location, PUR/PIR rigid foam or mineral wool, clad with V2A stainless steel or aluminium. What matters is the continuous vapour barrier executed correctly in every detail: only then does the system stay tight and efficient for years.
Yes, we regularly work for the central warehouses of large retail chains, for example at the CHEFS CULINAR central warehouse in Gallin with cold insulation and fire protection. Tight time windows and coordination with other trades are part of the job for us.
